Dr Thomas Plum passed away peacefully on February 29 2024 of natural causes. Tom was a long-time resident of the Big Island, building a home there, and conducting his business Plum Hall Inc. He was an ardent member of Waimea Rotary Club and passionate about the many Hawaiian sunsets he enjoyed throughout his 30+ years of living on the Big Island. Tom was a brilliant computer scientist, seeing very deeply into challenging computer language issues in developing the Plum Hall test suites as the principal product of the company he founded "Plum Hall inc.". Tom's career spanned over 50 years as one of the foremost leaders in the field. He has been well known in the industry for decades for the Plum Hall C and C++ test suites.
The test suites wil continue to be developed and supported by Tom's colleague Douglas Teeple.
