Do test programs change?

Yes, we update our test programs regularly and expand them. Please refer to Test Programs for details.

What do you do in cases that are not clear in the standards?

(A)

If behavior differs from commercial compilers such as Visual C++ or compilers by major manufacturers, we report them as warnings.

Can you exclude limitations of the compiler from testing?

(A)

Yes, if you provide information on limitations in advance.

Are there any areas that are not tested?

(A)

In ANSI C/C++ compiler qualification service, areas below are not covered.

  • Arguments in the main function
  • Features depending on compiler specific implementations (#pragma etc.)
  • Standard library (excluding math functions)
  • Negative testing (compile error etc.)

Please let us know if you need to have these areas tested.

What is the language specification for a DSP-C compiler?

(A)

The ACE/ISO standard is supported. The TI specification is not supported.

For the DSP-C language specification, is circular included in ISO/TR?

(A)

No.

 

 

(Q)

For the DSP-C lanauage specification, is the fixed point shift operator included in ACE?

(A)

No.
